No.2: Double Trouble

This trouble-light inspired lamp is the special for its mechanical joint feature that allows great diversity in the adjustment and direction of light. It's the presence and beauty of steel joints with interesting convertibility and a bit of Steampunk edge.

This trouble light cage has a pull chain light socket that gives the old industrial look. It comes with a classic Edison style bulb.

As for the joint, I use Fisher's scientific clamp, adding a feel of laboratory equipment to the piece. The base is cast iron, while the faucet valve helps the adjustment to be more convenient. These parts and their rusty texture and unbeatable charm of steel offer pretty interesting industrial ornamental details to the lamp.

There you have it, the No.2 of the Alchemy family. It was a fun piece to work with. Next up-- 'The Hang Man'. Don't forget to follow and feel free to comment. It would be nice to talk to you all. Have a good one, til we meet again!

No.1: The First Born

This is the first one of the collection. The shade is made of aluminum with goose-neck feature that allows versatile adjustable 360 degree direction. This fella can be mounted on the wall or used as a simple floor lamp.

This shade got my eyes probably because it has this space feel, and it reminds me a bit of the famous Sonic the Hedgehog, too :D

The joint and the base is also adjustable, you can also take the arm boom attached to the shade out from the stand, so it has a bit of trouble light function (sorry that I didn't have the picture when the arm boom is taken off).

There goes the first fellow of The Alchemy Collection! See you soon with No.2: the 'Double Trouble'.

The Chemical Cosmos.
