No.13: POW

Greeting everyone who's been following The Cosmos.

The first lamp after our long absence has a bit edgier details comparing to the previous ones.

The Fostoria lamp parts are mashed up with the vintage jack used as the lamp's base, which gives the raw, industrial look and the gimmicky functionality to the piece. The jack can be operated manually to adjust the height of the lamp.

We'll see you very soon :D

The Salvaged Universe: The Woodward Machinist

This lamp is another of our favorites. This product from Woodward Machine Co. contains everything you can ask for from a great machinist's working lamp. From the gorgeous rawness of texture to the beautifully solid mechanical details, as well as flexibility and functionality.

No.12: Cohen

'Cohen' is the sibling of our No.3 'Hang Man'. The half shade reflector, the vintage steel clamp and faucet and nice decorative details.. 'Cohen' will be featured in a little activity with art4d, Thailand's leading design magazine, for their July issue.

Cheers,

The Chemical Cosmos.

The Salvaged Universe: Pilgrim

This Bantam spotlight traveled across the continent. With a bit of a makeover session, it's now officially one of the Cosmos Squad. It gives a nice warm light through the beautiful Fresnel len, while the light density can be adjustable by the old-school manually operating reflector.
